The overall objective of the programme is to improve the sexual and reproductive health status of the Turkish population, especially women and youth. The programme which aims to increase the use of services related to SRH and to improve the policy environment to better support SRH rights and choices will support NGOs working in partnership with local authorities in implementing Advocacy/Information, Education and Communication (IEC) activities and undertaking projects contributing to the National Strategy for Women’s Health and Family Planning policy.

In accordance with the general objectives, the following intervention areas of reproductive health are considered to be priorities in compliance with the National Strategy on Women’s Health and Family Planning. The projects should address at least one of the issues listed under the intervention areas below and priority will be given to projects addressing more than one of them.

• Safe Motherhood
• Family Planning and Related Services
• STI/HIV/AIDS
• Sexual and Reproductive Health for Young People
• Prevention and Early Diagnosis of Cervical Cancer and Breast Cancer
• Elderly Reproductive Health
• Male Reproductive Health
• Cross Cutting Issues (Increased access to services by women and create awareness about the existence and utilization of SRH rights)

The duration of an action shall not exceed 12 months

Actions must take place in Turkey.
