Mazıdagi Region Diary Products Development Project has been prepared and presented to the Delegation of the European Commission to Turkey on behalf of the Sanli, Ömürlü, Yesilköy and Sagmal Villages for the GAP Rural Development Programme. The project aims to improve the living standards of the local people by providing new employment opportunities with the establishment of a modern diary production centre.  The European Commission approved the project and the activities of the project started in March 2006.
